The God we often forget part 2 of 2.

The God we often forget part 2 of 2.

Picking up from were we left of, we have learned that the devil is not just some adversarial entity rebelling against God for the fun of it. He is, as scripture quotes, the god of this world. The force that is connected to all negativity: sickness, distress, separation from friends or lovers, accidents, pain, suffering, and most of all death.  if we do not abide in God through his Son and his holy spirit, your god is indeed satan. You don't need a bible scholar to teach you this either.

Suffering is at a high. There is no crime, nor act of sin that has been committed that can surprise us in these days. Child pornography, cannibalism, sex slavery, etc. It almost seems like the darkness is winning and shading away the light. What is bad is what is now good. Darkness is what is in, while the light is old and traditional and not "hot". Look at the popular movies, the popular stars, the popular lyrics, the popular brands, the popular beliefs (You only live once, live for yourself, Money over everything, all sex no love...) Is it really a coincidence to you that the devil is called "the god of this world"?

If you are not a believer of Christ, or you may be a believer but know in your heart you aren't abiding in him, analyze your life with self compassion and honesty and be aware of where you currently are, how you get there, and where you see yourself going spiritual and physically. Let us seek the true God. The God who has already given you a purpose. The God who has already filled up that empty feeling that cries "Something is missing!" The God who offers a life beyond what we know or think we know. The God beyond religion, the God who lives and has always lived in you. The God who knows you more than you know yourself (Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”)

Yes problems will always exist especially when you give your life to Christ. Because you are no longer serving your former master, satan.

Ever wonder why it seems like the good struggle and the bad live on. Though that is a popularly but a highly exaggerated quote, a man  or women who seeks a relationship with God and to better his or herself, will never be left alone by the cunning temptations of satan to bring his servant back to his slavery and life of suffering

If you have watched the movie, The Matrix, notice how Neo and the ones who where "awakened" where chased by the agents, the holders and sustainers of the Matrix system, continuously. The agents did not want anybody out of the system. The system of human enslavement. The system of illusion. Better yet, they definitely did not want somebody "awakened" to awake the others who are asleep to the system. ( For more information on that topic, read "Do you have symptoms of feeling trapped in a Matrix?" and leave a comment! http://chryslerkuba.blogspot.com/2013/12/do-you-have-symptoms-of-feeling-trapped.html)

Our reality is not so different at all. In fact it is exactly the same. Those who stand up for what is right, seem to be the outcasts, the ones who suffer, the ones who just-dont-understand. It is the reason man like Martin Luther King were assassinated, Ghandi, Malcolm X, etc.

One man who had a similar outcome of the following men is Jesus Christ. 100% man and 100% God. he was and is, God in the physical flesh. He died so we may be free from serving the master who gives us nothing but emptiness and suffering. Have you ever watched a gangster movie where the boss gives all of his loyal workers everything they could wish for. Women, money, best homes and hotels, front sets to every show, and more money and more etc. All the while he has a secret agenda and when that agenda reaches its mark he will kill them faster than he recruited them. ( The bank scene from The Dark Knight is a good example)

With all of this being read, most of you may already know the following information. A common question is not ''Why?'' but ''How?" How exactly can I get to know God better? Where do I even start? How do I know if it is God? How do I know when he speaks to me? How do I know I'am on the right path?

The problem with the church.

When talking about "the church'' one is not just talking about the physical buildings and the pastors that lead their congregations there. It is the body of Christ as a whole. The body of believers. One of the main problems in the church is the misconceptions of God. So many have their own "opinion'' on who God is and what is or isn't sin. If opinion isn't a factor, many have beliefs that there are different ways to God. Some say the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and The Father are not one but three separate persons. Such beliefs would contradict the Word of God as a whole, including the first commandment. "Thou shall not put any other gods before me." If we are to pray in Jesus name if he isn't one with God, then we would be praying to a separate being, resulting in idolatry.

Beware, that some of you reading may be offended, though that is not my intention, when we are handling the Word of God, we cannot sugarcoat the truth. Many christians or non-christians, look for their ''own'' ways to God. Some feel that God is only in church or church buildings and when service is over, his presence is no longer there and its back ''to the world.'' Again, those tactics that are mostly done unconsciously, only result in satan having a smile on his face. To know God, we must begin in his Word. The Bible

The Word is God and God is The Word

We will be going over John 1:1-2 to see the relationship between God and his Word. First, lets take a look at  John 1:1-2 which says, "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

God and his Word are one. To not believe in The Bible would be not believing in God. The only way we can know God is through his Word. The Word was written by men with the holy spirit who were inspired to jot down their experiences and revelations from and with God. It was written by forty men from different time periods and generations, in a period of 1,500 years exactly according to the records of scripture.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

Psalm 119:160 "The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever."

The Word of God is the source of all truth and all of reality. To some it may just seem like a book. Indeed, it is a book, for reading it in bible studies won't make you any better than you desire to be without actual practice of what is taught. The Word is spirit and living ( Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." )
God's Word reveals his character, his creation, his plan, and most of all his love. His Word shows no partiality nor is a favorite of persons. His Word makes whole and teaches perfect wisdom. Wisdom that changes the heart and not just the mind. For the natural human wisdom of man can only perceive so much all the while not being conscious of satan's deceits.

We must start with The Bible and actually apply what it is we read. It must be read with faith. It must be read with the conviction that his Word is indeed true and that He indeed exists. Questions may arise, confusion may kick in as well, because as stated earlier, there is so much our finite minds can perceive from the Infinite mind of God, and not to forget satan's desire to push us away from the truth, from our True selves. When seeking God, The prime creator of all that is, we must believe that he is* and allow him to guide us in his Word.

The Word is also Jesus Christ. John 1:14 "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
Jesus stated " I AM the truth, the way, and the life. No comes through the Father expect through me." When we read this scripture, it is clear that God's will is for us to believe in the Son, the perfect physical manifestation of himself. When seeking God and letting go of our idols and false gods, we must be totally submissive to HIS WAY. We must believe that God's way is the best way, for it is.

Faith in God births God to reveal himself increasingly and give us all of the guidance and comfort that we need ( Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith [it is] impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.) As we look at the scripture from part one of part one of this article, Exodus 3:13-15, where God revealed himself to Moses. God was firm and made plain who he is. When Moses asked him "Who should I say sent me?" God did not say, " Whatever you perceive me to be." He clearly stated "Tell them I AM sent you." Yahweh. God may not reveal himself through a burning bush now and days, but he continues to reveal himself in the same manner through his Word. Because his Word has never changed.

He reveals himself through Jesus Christ. Through Jesus we see the visible God. The God who lives in man and dwells in oneness with him. Jesus was that perfect human figure when walking on earth. God revealed himself to Moses through a burning bush, today he reveals himself as a man, Jesus Christ. We can only know God through Jesus, because Jesus is God indeed.

The promise of the counselor

Jesus made this promise before he was sent to Calvary,
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26

The Holy Spirit, The counselor, comforter, teacher etc. As we have already covered, the Holy spirit is the spirit of God. Holy, means set-apart and spirit is also mind. He is the living mind of Christ and when we choose to follow him and be baptized by the holy spirit, we receive the mind of God that teaches us all things that pertain to God and reality ( 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 "these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spiritwithin them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.")

Word of note, baptism of the holy spirit does not necessarily mean just being dipped in water. It is the very act of receiving him. Believing in him and faithfully asking him to take part of your life ( Luke 11:13 "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”)
It is because of the holy spirit that the apostles where able to convert almost 5,000 people in one day. It is because of the Holy spirit a man is 100% convinced of the Word of God. The Holy spirit speaks, He hears, He guides, and He transforms us into his exact image. For He is the reason we become one with God.

He is also the reason there is separation and division. Because of him, the fruits and deeds of man are exposed. There are men who know the bible better than any pastor but yet do not believe it to be the Word of God nor able to understand it because they do not have the Spirit of God revealing them the divine mysteries in his Word. There are churches with millions of members yet no lives are being changed by the true and powerful influence of the Holy Spirit.

We can only know and have a relationship with God when we have the Spirit of God resting in us, guiding us through his word and daily affairs of life. Romans 8:14-16"because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, ""Abba," Father."  The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children."

Religion shuns the Holy Spirit for many reasons. A man who wants to believe in his own way towards God will neglect the Holy Spirit trying to convince him of the truth.

Conclusion

To come to close, We must remember that life is as simple as God has created it to be. We will never come to fully knowing God and ourselves if we continue to remain indifferent to the simple truth. Our God has never changed. No matter what you have done, no matter what you have said, no matter what you have felt, believe me when I tell you, God is still the God who created you with purpose, destiny, beauty, intelligence, and an abundant supply of gifts that reside within you. A life filled with emotional, spiritual, physical, and financial success and increase. Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

The only way we will ever experience a life free from the attachments of our "ego" or flesh, free from expecting others to give us the longing significance and reason to live, free from our gods and idols that give empty promise after empty promise; leaving us feeling more empty  and most of all free from the bondage that sin brings, is to make a decision RIGHT NOW to look within, confess, and ask for Christ to enter our lives.

Whether you have been a christian for years, whether you are new to the faith, or whether you have no claim to faith but want to get to know God; NOW is the time. Luke 19:9 "And Jesus said unto him, To-day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham."

Today is your day. God isn't interested in your church activities, or tithes and offerings. He is interested in YOU. Your heart. He wants YOU, my fellow reader. God has built the home, he has decorated the house, he has set up the dinner, he has fixed your room, he has the mansion all prepared for you. It is up to you to walk in. Problems will exists, your faith will be tested. For a relationship with God is not a one day event of emotional repentance and then its back to the-same-old. It is life journey. Times will seem hard. But giving up our gods that have kept us in ignorance and sin for the one true God who desires nothing but life for us is indeed worth more our lives themselves.

The God we often forget Part 1 of 2

The God we often forget Part 1 of 2.

This article has two parts and if you make it through the first without being overwhelmed, then you will be blessed and come to full assurance after reading part two which will put everything together. Part one presents the challenging question "Do I really know who God is on relationship level?" And also to confront the most common problem in not just the church alone, but the humanity as a whole: placing other gods above the one and only God.
We all do it, and we all have done it. You may not pray to a cup, or worship a carved tree from your backyard, but our different gods have many insidious forms and shapes. From a mythological character, to a cellphone.

If you are not a christian, you have come to the right place. Hopefully, it will educate you and enlighten your heart on some questions you have always had about religion and society as a whole and most of all, who the person of God is.

The God we think we Know.

Ever had a particular person tell you about a sound friend you have known for several years? To add to the rhetorical question, lets say after having meet your friend the "particular person" says things such as "I don't want to be around him/her, I know people like that!" Other vainful words of gossip like "I can tell he/she is a this and that." or "His/her parents must be this or that" etc and more etc.

The "particular person" seems to know more about your friend than you do at the moment. Funny, because we can fairly say that they do not know each other.

Who am I? Well, that is my job to reveal to you, not yours. You cannot know me unless I willingly do so. Once I have revealed myself and have welcomed you into my world, then not only do you know me but we now share a common bond that cannot be taken away by any outside force.

To get to the point, you cannot know somebody unless they have willingly revealed and expressed themselves to you and the both of you have an actual relationship.

Do you know God? Of course you do. Everybody knows God. After all, it is stated that 85% of the U.S. population are Christians. (That should help me feel safe and sleep good at night). Sadly, you and I both know that is not true as far as legitimate followers of Christ are concerned. If we analyze ourselves with pure and unbiased honesty, most may come to the conclusion that we do not know the person of God as much as we think we do. Some may or some may not. As I mentioned in the beginning paragraph, how do you know if you actually know somebody? Lets go further deep and ask how do we know if we actually love somebody? After all, how can you love somebody you do not even know?

Calling that girl and all the while not knowing her name, buying a gift while not knowing if it is his or her taste, cooking a meal and not knowing what he or she likes or doesn't like to eat and the list goes on. Acts with good intentions, but done with doubt and uncertainty. We only ''try'' to impress, because of our lack to  willingly to express. Some think they know God, all the while living a life trying to impress him. As if, he's not already impressed by you just being alive. Church has nothing to do with it, neither does reading your bible left and right until you have memorized the book like the back of your hand. These actions done with dry motives won't increase your relationship with Christ anymore than sitting in a garage will make you a Chrysler. (Unless thats already your name...) It is a relationship issue: the lack of communication with God, intimate experience, and most of all, basic knowledge.

Hello Moses. I'AM!

Lets take a look at the first encounter Moses had with God. God revealed himself to Moses in a burning bush affirming who he was and what he wanted to do through Moses, which was to save the Israelites from the oppression of Egypt. As we fast forward to the main point of their conversation, lets take a look at the following scripture and pay attention to the key points in Exodus 3:13-15:

Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I am has sent me to you.’”
God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’

This is my name forever,
the name you shall call me
    from generation to generation."

Moses asked a very interesting question to God. He lived in a time where there were as many gods as people. The Israelites  had more gods then they had hope for freedom. Their Egyptian oppressors have made them worship their multiple gods and without sound knowledge of the God of Israel, Yahweh, they have faithfully submitted themselves to any "god'' that gave them a sense of hope, purpose, and significance of existence.

God told Moses exactly who he is. I'AM that I'AM, the God of your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and of JacobHe made it clear who he is. As we notice what is written, Moses himself did not put a label on God nor even had a chance to do so. He could not say "The God of the burning bush sent me", or give him a man-made name such as the "Burning bush God." God told him "This is who I'AM and this is what I want you to do." This is what separates God from all other gods.

God has been, is, and will be forever more. The beginning and the end. The God who puts labels but none else can label. The God who never changes. Other gods, wether ancient characters of worship or one we have created are exactly that, created by our finite minds resulting into a delusion.

Like the Israelites we have our own gods. Even the body of Christ itself. It is the reason for the relationship issue discussed in an earlier paragraph. Spiritual adultery to the fullest. Most create their own image and idea of who and even what God is. Putting a lable on God, like a man creating a character out of his philosophized  imagination, we create our own God in our minds.

Some don't even label God. They shun the very existence of such belief, but it doesn't mean they don't have a god. Things like money, fame, women, popularity, material possession, your ego or self image, work, and the rest of the illusions of physical reality are the gods of this age. Don't agree? What is a god to begin with?

What is a god?

A god or lord is a master. Someone or something having power, authority or influence. Your parents are your gods and have Lordship over you. By common sense you should not worship them, but it is a fact that you are under their authority. Back in the medieval times, knights were todays armed forces who held the badge of honor and chivalry. A knight had several stages of development starting from ages as early as eight. When a young soon-to-be knight reaches around fourteen years of age they are to be loyal and faithful servants to their lords. Their earthly master and mentor.

Every step of action the future knight took was to please and honor his lord. At that age, future knights, were to clean horses, serve their lord's lunch/dinner, watch over flocks, learn applied skills such as dancing to fighting, and so on and so forth. Everything the young growing knight did, was motivated by proving worthiness to his lord and gaining his approval.

The future knights very purpose of existence is to please and prove himself worthy to his lord to one day be crowned a full-time knight with honor. To my fellow disciples of Christ reading this, it should sound familiar to our commitment to Christ.

James 1:12
"There is a blessing on the man who undergoes testing; because, if he has God's approval, he will be given the crown of life, which the Lord has said he will give to those who have love for him."

Christian or non-christian, we are all living knights serving our master. Our higher Self. Our god. The truth is, from the atheist to the spiritual guru, every single human being in this planet is serving a god. A higher Self. A master.

Its the reason we have so many confusion and uncertainty. The reason many "paths" and "ways" to God or life are presented to the culture. The three soul searching questions like "Who Am I?" "Who is God?" "What is my purpose?" increase our thirst for truth and significance that birth our daily behaviors and mold the very characters we are today.

The worst news is, different denominal and organized religions, are more than happy to answer these questions for you which is a bit scary. Like a doctor desperately looking for clients for his falsely acclaimed life saving drug, he entices the clients by opening up with half basic truths and after already having been enticed, once he has you where he wants, the lies begin to pile up without you noticing. You find yourself moving away from the very help you need in the first place all the while thinking that the lie is the truth.

The root of our gods.

Now that we know exactly what a god is, lets take a deep but simple dive into where exactly our ''gods'' have come from. As mentioned above, a god is someone you willingly put yourself under authority to. Someone or something that motivates your decisions and seek approval of. From the girl who will put on anything and everything to impress her peers, the youngster who will do whatever asked to prove himself worthy in a gang, the husband who is never home because of his strive to the top at work, the old-widow praying to a statue and begging for a miracle and the list goes on.

Many say and claim they believe in "The one and only God" but exactly who is that god?  And if that god is the omnipotent and omnipresent creator of the present universe and all of reality as we know it, then where do these other gods come from? If there is one loving God, then why is it so hard to willingly  serve and strive to please him? After all, if he created us to serve him, shouldn't that be the first thing in our minds?

As we look back into history, we know that from the Word of God there stood our very first ancestors, Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God created man to enjoy the fullness of his creation and stand in awe of his glory. The human conscious of Adam and Eve were extremely different of today's, for they knew God and were one in him. Imagine your mind free from the daily negative thoughts and feelings you experience day by day. Nothing but the full presence of God would reign. That is exactly how Adam and Eve felt and more. They were clear from any negative conditioning since sin wasn't present yet. Full of child-like blissfulness. They knew and had a relationship with the creator.

As the story unfolds, God gave them access to all fruits and plantations in the magnificent Garden of Eden expect for one, the tree of knowledge of good and evil. (Genesis 2:15-17). What we must see from the passage is God's authority over Adam and Eve. Adam was conscious that he belonged to God, Yahweh. Like a Knight, Adam was submissive to the requests of his Lord. He knew The Lord was his God. Master. Higher Self.

When satan persuaded Adam and Eve through the serpent to eat the fruit, the authority was switched. How? Think about it for a second. Whoever you willingly obey becomes your god because you have put yourself under their authority (Romans 6:16). From your boss, to your parents, or a drug kingpin.

In the spiritual realm, Our one and true god is God himself: The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ His visible image is Jesus Christ (John 8:58, Colossians 1: 15-17 "The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.)

Jesus is the physical manifestation of the invisible and God. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Jesus, which makes it the spirit of God. This is why they are all one. The father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. They are not seperate people, just different forms of one source. One personality. One God.
1 John 5: 7-8 " For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The birth of sin, came when man willingly decided to serve another master by obeying his request. Which was to eat of the forbidden fruit. Therefor, In this reality, our master is satan. The god of the air. The spirit that works through disobedience. (Ephesians 2:2)

Whether you believe it or not, regardless of who you are. Unless we have given our lives to Jesus Christ and are currently being renewed by his Holy Spirit day by day, according to scripture, your god is the devil. Satan is the god of this world, while God is the God of the universe and still has authority and holds things together.
2 Corinthians 4:4"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

The first commandment is "You shall not have any other gods before me" (Exodus 20:3). There is a reason that is the first commandment. For it is the one that is broken the most. This is why, my fellow Christians, we are to be thankful for God's grace and mercy. Sin, is the reason it seems almost impossible for most of us to get to know God the way we desire to. You don't need a ''Rabbi" to tell you that. It just seems like what you want to do you don't do, but what you don't what to do you end up doing anyway.

Sin is the cause of all suffering. Sin is the cause of separation between God and man. The devil feeds on sin for he is the god and cause of it. As 1 John 3:8 says:

"Whoever sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil."

We are living in the Matrix. Most don't realize it, for the devil is actively feeding the lost with lies and illusions. The truth is this, whether it be drugs, yourself, parent, significant other, idol, money, and anything else you unconsciously or consciously place above God, it is indeed your master. Your god. It is beyond cults, beyond The Illuminati, beyond "government conspiracies", and so on and so forth. The following do exists and do have secret agendas, but we must understand their master. The spirit that is guiding their very move whether known or unknown. The bigger picture, is that satan is using that very thing to keep you as far from God as possible, and if you are contempt in your ignorance he has already succeeded.

But as we know there is hope. Great hope. Jesus Christ. But how exactly do we get to know God better and flee from our gods and illusions?

Ever knew your words could build and destroy?

The Power of the Tongue

When you understand the power of the tongue (James 3:8-10) you will understand what separates the poor/rich happy/unhappy sick/healthy. Words have power. Every thought produces a feeling or the feeling produce the thought, it is always vice a versa. After the thought or feeling has bubbled inside, words are produced (Psalms 39:1-3).

The Word of God states that out of the abundance of the heart, the man speaks. The heart is the center of our being. It is the heart that reveals who you truly are. (Your spiritual heart of course.) Out of the tongue comes life and death. Speaking negative about your current situation degenerates and creates such negativity in your situation, just like speaking positive of your situation creates life and increases your heart’s desire that has manifested through your mouth.

(Psalms 37:30-31 “The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. KJV)

The main problem with humanity is that so many of us lack this knowledge. We curse our families, our friends, our own country, our health, and so on and so forth without even knowing that our speech has created such things. It is rarely intentionally and that is the dangerous part. Our words create our blessings or our curses

“If this guy doesn’t cover his mouth, I swear I’m going to get sick!”

Though the individual has the right to feel concerned for his health, instead of simply moving out the way and having faith in God’s protection from an uncontrolled germ spread and watch his mouth from speaking a curse on himself, the man creates his own reality. His reality is that no matter what, he will get sick because the man 15 ft. from him sneezed.

It is logical not to eat something that is poisoned, because it will cause your body harm, with wisdom we can make our decisions from there and avoid harm. The issue is we speak things into existence that were never meant to manifest in the first place. We must watch our words. Talking about your problem and stating how bad you are doing over and over again to everybody around you is making the problem worse and increasing the problem.

On the other hand, talking about your blessings, no matter how little they seem in your situation, increases them. We must be alert to what we say! Make it your business right now, to be conscious of your actions starting with your words. Many reasons we still don't see progress in either our spiritual lives, a blessing we are waiting for, or the lives of our loved ones, is because we are failing to be aware

Awareness is knowledge or perception of a situation and fact. The word of God states "My people perish for lack of knowledge." When you become aware of the urges to say negative things and the temptations to drag you along, you immediately have a choice. You are no longer acting like a robot pushed to and fro wherever the devil pleases, you are now in a position where you have a choice. Choose true and positive words! Unless you enjoy seeing and attracting the same problems. Choose words that speak life, even when the current situation is totally contrary and actually believe it!

You may tell yourself “I believe God has already healed me!” For faith believes in the unseen and faith pleases God and creates our blessings, but what happens when the individual goes to the hospital and the doctor says “Your sickness has seemed to get worse.”  The individual starts telling everybody “O My Lord, The doctor told me the infection has gotten worse! It’s getting worse every day!” What happened to the patient’s belief about being healed?

It is not about the belief you hold in your mind, but it is what you say that reveals what you believe. How? Because words come from our hearts, and that is why they are so powerful

As writers Peggy Joyce Ruth and Angelia Ruth Schum of Psalm 91: God’s shield of protection put it “There is power in saying his [God’s] Word back to him. We are not told to simply think the word, we are told to say the word….The more we say it out loud, the more we become confident of his protection. Yet so many times as Christians, we mentally agree that the Lord is our refuge; but that is not enough. Power is released when we say it out loud! When we say it and mean it we are placing ourselves in his shelter. By voicing our acceptance and our reliance on his lordship and his protection, we open the door to the secret place.”

 What is the Word?

“In the beginning was the Word” John 1:1. God created the universe with his Word. The Word represents Jesus Christ, and everything else that came through and from him. Every particle, every atom, every piece of matter, up to the universe itself.

In the beginning was the thought of God, then with his thought he spoke his creation into existence:

Psalm 33:6 “By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made: and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.”

We are all simply “thoughts” and manifestations of God:

Psalm 50:11 “I know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the fields are in my mind (Amplified Version).”

Everything in the universe is one with God and expresses his unseen image one way shape or form. The flower shows his joy and beauty, space shows his wisdom and infinite intelligence, the singing birds, the waterfalls, the green grass are all ‘expressions’ of God. They are all different forms but they are all one and represent God

Humans are the highest, most intelligent, and most cherished in God’s creation. We are not created as “things” but as loving symbols where God can manifest through us and also live in relationship with us.

Renewing our minds is not about getting a new mind elsewhere, it is remembering who we truly are. God tells us to meditate on his Word, because that is our true identity. As the above paragraph states, “Power is released when we say it out loud!”  We become increasingly aligned the more we habitually speak positivity and God’s reality in every area of our lives. This does not mean to be na├»ve and act like your problems don’t exist. But, we must first consider what the root of our problem is in the first place.

We now understand that we create and attract our problems based on our consciousness followed by our choice of words. Every problem has a solution. When you get the lesson, you don’t have to face the same problem or experience again. A math teacher teaches the students how to solve a math problem or equation. After the lesson is over, to be sure the students understand and can move on to bigger lessons the teacher gives them a test. When the student solves the problem by understanding the solution (or formula) he passes the test and moves on without having to re-take the same test. Because he knows the solution, he can help other students who struggle with that particular math problem. When one knows the solution to a problem, the problem dissolves and the lesson is learned.

But, in life, there are students who don’t pay attention in class. Therefore, when the test comes the problem is bigger than it was meant to be. The student therefore, because he refused to pay attention to instruction, has to guess his way to the solution and in the end fails. The teacher then states that those who failed their test must re-take it and they will not move on to the next lesson until they have passed the test. When you refuse to learn, the same problem shows up again and again.

This is why students get held back a grade or cannot graduate. In life, many have not graduated into a higher realm of thinking. When we start to understand the universal design of God and take his commandments and grace seriously, our problems are just lessons and we move on without facing the same issues.

When we speak about the solution and believe that God has already provided the solution we attract it. Power is released when we speak Gods provision out loud, not matter how invisible it is. God constantly tells the weak to say “I AM strong!” he tells the prisoners to say “I AM free!”  He tells the sick to say “I AM healed!”  Notice what happens when you tell yourself, especially when you are at your lowest “Nothing can stop me! I AM strong, mighty, and created with a purpose! I AM more than a conqueror!”

It is different from just thinking it. Saying it and meaning it cause reactions in the body and your cells. The activity and energy starts rising and your brain cells start producing more neurons that destroy the former cells that created your negative emotion and create new ones. Speaking God’s word or any type of speech that aligns you with your limitless spiritual nature programs the mind to walk in that nature

Here is an exercise you can: habitually give yourself self-suggestions like; “Every day I’m getting better and stronger, I AM the righteousness of God, Positivity is following me, My health is ever increasing.” Do it! And reap the benefits.

Notice God’s name YAHWEH which is translated “I AM who I AM”. When God first revealed himself to Moses he said “tell them I AM sent thee”. We have forgotten what it truly means when we say “I AM strong.” we are confirming exactly who we are, one with God, one with all, one with the great I’ AM. Examination, Prayer, and words are all one when it comes to meditation. They must all be applied in your daily life to fully live the positive life God has intended for you to live. It means nothing to just believe, after all, Demons also believe in God. Faith is action, action based on God’s reality. Take action now! Watch your words!

Who drives a car without their Key?

When you are the leaving your house on the way to your car, I'm pretty sure you make certain that you grab your car keys. Not because you have an impressive number of key chains that match your purse and make you look charmingly cute (ladies), but because it is literally a necessity!

A car is a useful tool of transportation. Considering the fact that we need one to pretty much go anywhere. But, it becomes as useless as a paper boat unless you have the Key....

Prayer is Key!

Prayer is the key. Prayer is creating your reality simple by communicating with the Lord in form of request, supplication, and expression of thanks (Praise). While you are praying in the spirit and with faith, you are praying God’s will which is nothing but greatness for you, and connecting with God in deeper levels. It is God’s will for you to be as limitless as you dream and desire to be. The more connected you are with God, the more your faith increases. The more your faith increases, the more wisdom and decision making ability you are able to make. The more better decisions you make, the more you start seeing life working for instead of against you. During prayer, you are doing the following things:
  • Creating God’s desired reality for you. “Matthew 6:8"

  • Destroying strongholds from demonic spirits that throw resistance in your life and others.  “Psalm 59:10-11”, “Psalm 124:1-3”

  • Becoming more aligned with God and increasing a deeper relationship with him. “Jude 20”

  • Assigning the angles of God to lead and guide you and others to positivity and deliverance from evil. “3 John 2”, “Psalms 91:11-12”

  • Allowing the Grace of God to supernaturally take hold of your being.

  • Programming your mind to hold on God’s truth. “Mark 13:33” “Colossians 1:9-10”

  • Restoring and healing physical, emotional, and spiritual bruises.
Though there are many ways, shapes, or forms to pray, when it comes down to spiritual truth there are two types of prayers, Carnal prayer and Spirit-Filled prayer.

The Bible describes the carnal mentality and the spirit mentality in Romans 8:6-8: “For to be carnally minded is death: but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Carnal prayer is such that shows no long lasting results and no spiritual growth. It is prayer in vain. The carnal-minded man or women in prayer is praying with a mind still stuck in the illusions of life. He or she prays without understanding the big picture of their situation and desire. It results in unanswered prayers because the request is either given in vain, doubt, and selfish or impure intentions.

Instead of praying for wisdom on how to make better money, the carnal man prays for more money to drop out of the sky. Instead of praying for peace and a patient mind in a work environment he doesn’t like very much, the carnal man prays for a new job with the false belief that all of his problems will go away just because of the change in environment. (I know all of us can relate!) The carnal man prays according to his selfish desires. It’s all about what “I” wants, instead of what IS best

Momma is cooking dinner, the child is trying to sneak in the kitchen and snatch some Doritos from the pantry and eat some before dinner. Momma slaps her child’s hand reaching for the snack. Why is momma so mean? Because, Momma knows what’s best for the child. If the child reached for the bag of Doritos and ate them all before dinner, he would have been full when dinner came. The child may not understand and thinks momma is being mean for no apparent reason, but momma knows it is best for the child to wait until dinner and eat so that he can be full and filled with the necessary nutrients from a normal meal whether than a snack.

Like the child, the carnal man in prayer just wants and wants without seeing the bigger picture. It is not bad at all to pray for one’s desire’s and wants. After all, It is meant to have our desirers manifest but we must know the motive and intent  behind what we want and if it will help us for the better.

The Spirit-filled prayer is prayer with understanding and because there is understanding there is faith. Romans 8:26:
“Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the SPIRIT itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

Only a person who truly has, at least some sort of, knowledge and understanding of who [the character of] Christ is, can he or she pray a prayer of faith.  The person knows that God will answer his or her prayer because he or she is praying for something that God wants to generously give, and because he isn’t ignorant of his request and motive he has faith.

It is praying the will of the Lord which is always answered. Prayer is the most important factor in the progress of mind renewal and getting closer, more aligned, and stronger in Christ. Prayer is like water to the soul. Many of us don’t take prayer seriously and that is why the wind of life has always carried most of us in places we never intended to be physical, spiritually, emotionally and financially. Luke 22:46.

Prayer is no burdensome task, after all as I pointed in the above passage, there are many forms and ways to pray, but there is only one effective mind-set. You can pray as you read this right now, talking to the lord in your mind the same way you talk to other people. Yes prayer is that simple. You are praying when you are visualizing the life you want, because it is a desired hoped for but not visible seen.

Prayer is the only powerful tool to create the life you want and attract the things you need. As you pray with intention and faith, your subconscious is taking in your request, downloading it, and bringing it back to you in your mental atmosphere. It is the super-conscious that leads everything else to you or pulls you towards your desires and needs. It is Christ who holds all things and leads you to your manifestation or pulls your manifestation towards you. Constant prayer is important for that reason; we live in a world with many confusion and unknown direction. Prayer is the key to the unknown doors God has set for us. Prayer is the number one way to renewing your mind, because it is Christ who is renewing and shaping your heart to be wiser and more aligned with him.

Without prayer, we are lead astray to demonic traps and teachings that misalign our minds from God and therefore lead us to failure, sickness and turmoil. You must make prayer a habit! Any moment or any time during the day, you should make it your business to devote at least five minutes or more in prayer.

What if I don’t know how to pray? Where do I start? What do I say?  These are common questions if prayer is not a habitual exercise for you. The first way to approach prayer to grow in it, is to look at it as a conversation with God instead of some religious ritual. That approach will only make prayer seem like more of a burden instead of a simple devoted time with Christ in relationship with him. “But Chrysler, I dont know if my relationship with God is good enough? Does he even hear me? Does he even want to talk to me? This is why It was mentioned in earlier text that a Spirit-filled prayer is a prayer of faith

Spirit filled doesn't necessarily mean you have to start praying in tongues and dancing while possessed with the “supernaturally spirit of God” shouting out theological words. (Unless you want to). It is simple believing in what the Bible says about God and his nature. Because, even though having sinned,  the Word of God says that we are forgiven and cleansed in front of God when we confess and repent. (1 John 1:9). If a man doesn't know such awesome and beneficial news, he may pray to God but filled with guilt and shame  because of present or past sins he becomes vulnerable to satan’s lie and convince himself “God doesn't want to talk to me.”

Faith is imporant. To know the Word and believe it. Once you know the basics by actual experience with God, your prayer life and relationship with him will grow gradually. Little things like praying for your food and blessing it or giving thanks to any circumstance whether they are in your favor or not. There may be something in that food that will make you sick, but as stated above as one of things prayer does for your spiritual life “Destroying strongholds from demonic spirits that throw resistance in your life and others” Praying for your food or anything else for that matter to be blessed and showing gratitude for it increases Gods favor for such things to happen even more. Praying for your children, your spouse, your neighbors, your home, your work, your workmates, your finances, your health, and your spiritual condition, you are allowing Gods favor to be building in the lives of many and creating more positivity and provision for yourself and others. Praying for your country is just as important. Many people, without knowing, curse their own home country and attract such curses and negativity.  Prayer is the key. Prayer is meditation.
